Delete Your Data from Tilit

This page explains how to delete individual pieces of data from Tilit while keeping your account active. You can remove recommendations, photos, lists, or other content you've created.

Note: If you want to delete your entire account and all data, please visit our Account Deletion page instead.

What Data Can You Delete?

How to Delete Specific Data

Option 1: Delete Items Within the App

  1. Open the Tilit app
  2. Navigate to the content you want to delete:
    • Recommendations: Profile → Recommendations → Tap recommendation → Menu (⋮) → Delete
    • Photos: Open recommendation or place → Tap photo → Delete icon
    • Lists: Lists tab → Tap list → Menu (⋮) → Delete List
    • Bookmarks: Bookmarks → Swipe left on item → Delete
    • Profile info: Profile → Edit Profile → Remove or change information
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted
  4. The data will be deleted immediately

Option 2: Request Bulk Data Deletion via Email

If you want to delete multiple items or specific types of data at once:

  1. Send an email to tilit@urbanarmy.se with the subject "Data Deletion Request"
  2. Include your registered email address and username
  3. Specify what type of data you want to delete (e.g., "all my restaurant recommendations in Stockholm" or "all photos from 2025")
  4. We will process your request within 7 business days
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once the data has been deleted
