Terms of Service

Welcome to Tilit. By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Tilit.

1. About Tilit

Tilit is a restaurant recommendation and discovery platform operated by Urban Army AB. The service allows users to share and discover restaurant recommendations through a curated, trust-based social network.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tilit. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and current.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others
You may not share your account with others

4. User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Tilit (recommendations, notes, photos, lists). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving Tilit.

Content Standards

You agree not to post content that:

Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains hate speech, threats, or harassment
Is sexually explicit or promotes violence
Contains spam or unsolicited commercial content
Violates any applicable law or regulation

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove or moderate content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Restaurant Database

Tilit maintains a curated database of restaurants. The information provided about restaurants (location, hours, menu, etc.) is for informational purposes only and may not always be current or accurate. We recommend verifying information directly with the restaurant.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use Tilit for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access Tilit
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Post fake reviews or manipulate recommendations
Collect or store other users' personal information

7. Intellectual Property

The Tilit app, including its design, features, branding, and source code, is owned by Urban Army AB and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on Tilit.

8. Third-Party Services

Tilit integrates with third-party services (Firebase, Google Maps). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tilit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Restaurant information will be accurate or up-to-date
User-generated content is reliable or trustworthy
Any defects will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urban Army AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Tilit, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urban Army AB from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of Tilit.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or via email. Your continued use of Tilit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Tilit shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Urban Army AB regarding Tilit.
